Zimmer Cancer Clinic
Parkway of Wilmington is a long-term supporter of the Zimmer Cancer Clinic and Cape Fear Cancer Specialists. For over four years, we have helped deliver blankets, kids' gifts, and messages of hope to the patients at the center.
Make-A-Wish Eastern NC
Parkway of Wilmington chose the eastern North Carolina chapter of the Make-A-Wish nonprofit organization as the 5th Hometown Charity to support. This allowed Make-A-Wish families to share their stories on broadcast radio, and the campaign raised over $24,000.
Cape Fear Chapter of The American Heart Association
Parkway of Wilmington has supported the Cape Fear Chapter of The American Heart Association for over 10 years. Over this time period, we have helped raise money for the cause as well as sponsor events like the Heart Ball and Heart Walk.
New Hanover County Social Services
Parkway of Wilmington knows the importance of community during the holidays. That's why we donate gifts to foster children during the holiday season, and bring awareness to the need for foster families in the New Hanover County area. In addition, we support programs that help prepare teenagers in the foster system for adulthood.
American Red Cross
Parkway of Wilmington partners with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive every year. Local businesses donate drinks and food for those who donate blood. Anyone in the local community is welcome to come by, and often Parkway employees and customers come by to contribute.
